Paris Cleaners Your Treasured Memories Preserved
Wedding gowns
When the cake has been cut, the bride and groom have been toasted, and the dance floor is empty what happens next? Paris is here to keep the memories of this special event safe and beautiful. Paris Perseveration department is ready to bring your Wedding Gown to near new condition. We are the masters of the art. Your gown will not be sent off to some distant place. The entire process is performed in our preservation department on site. With the name you trust for 100 years. PARIS.
Paris is able to clean your gown with out the fear of the beads or sequins turning into gelatinous goo as is the risk with other cleaners who use perc. Paris has never used perc. Not only is it bad on the environment, but it is bad for your precious memories.
Your gown receives personal care. We process only your gown until the cleaning is completed. Gowns are carefully pretreated and finished by hand. When your gown is finally finished Paris displays it in the vault room where the natural sunlight enhances the beauty of the gown. You can take all the time required to completely inspect your gown. Only after your inspection will we seal it.
The preservation of your gown takes time, up to six weeks - sometimes longer. You may wonder why the process takes so long. Sorry, but that’s a Paris trade secret! It can’t be duplicated, so give your gown the attention available only at Paris.
Although our normal process takes about 6 weeks, we can accommodate emergency cases in a shorter amount of time. We charge $25 in addition to the usual cleaning charges. Call or email us for details.
To make it even more personal, please include the announcement, wedding invitation photos, and most importantly the video of the event on DVD, and anything else you wish to keep safe. Paris will laminate the various items for cost only, not labor.
Save time on the busy Wedding Day by having Paris deliver your cleaned and pressed wedding gown to the wedding site for only $10!

One Mother's Story
Dear Paris Cleaners,With all the vendors that a family works with when planning a wedding, who would guess that your favorite one would be the dry cleaners? Well, that is definitely the case for us.
when my daughter became engaged in 2007, we already had her gown and it was safely stored in her grandmother’s home. Although her grandmother is a smoker, I thought the dress would be fine because it was in a bag in a closet and shut off from the rest of the house. I was wrong.
After a brief panic, I went to Paris Cleaners near my home and talked to Nadia, who was very reassuring. She told me to bring the dress in and they would send it to their wedding gown specialist at their plant.
After it was cleaned Nadia told me that it would be hung safely in their vault and protected from dust and odor. In the vault, the train (and it is a big one) would be spread out so as to not wrinkle.
I explained that we would need at least the top of the dress (it is in two pieces) to look for bridesmaid dresses and a veil. Once again Nadia said, “No problem!” We actually took the dress out of the vault twice before the wedding.
On the day before the wedding I picked up the dress and it was freshly steamed and looked beautiful. Because Paris uses PERC-free dry cleaning solvent there was absolutely no odor.
As you can see, my daughter was breath-taking on her wedding day, and now the gown is back with our friends at Paris to be preserved.
Thank you Paris!
Janet Richter

Christening gowns & childhood memories
Our most popular item after Wedding Gowns for preservation are Christening gowns. Paris is well aware that one day this tiny garment will likely be worn by another generation. Popular items placed in the box include: photos, little booties, the announcement and the delicate hat. And one of the best new items to be placed with the memories is a video of the event on DVD.
Military uniforms
Another specialty of ours is the preservation of Military uniforms. Recently we received a vintage U.S. Naval uniform from WWII. Having been boxed up in the attic for many years we were able to reverse the
gradual process of decay. Great care was taken with such an important item of history. Included were several medals and service ribbons. They were separately sealed (laminated) and placed with the uniform in a preservation box. These items, along with photographs of servicemen and women are an important part not only of history but of your family heritage. Prom
Oh Prom night, and what a night that is. All too often the memory as well as the dress is forgotten. Imagine one day your daughter is preparing for her Prom, you open your Prom dress and memorabilia long forgotten but luckily perfectly preserved. Great items to include in this box of memories are laminated photos, the invitation, a DVD of photos, maybe even a video, and yes, even the shoes all preserved, waiting for that special moment in time when you can spend hours with your daughter.Sports uniforms
You play in it, we preserve it. Recently Paris was requested to clean a football jersey but not too clean. The person wanted the stains to be visible, to preserve the moments of the wining touchdown, the goal scored, the fumble completed. This was a challenge for us, being experts in removing the stains. Thankfully, the shoes were not added to the box! After final inspection the young man said to his Dad "this is the best graduation present ever.” And Paris was able to take part in such an amazing one of a kind experience.
Treasured Memories
With today’s technology and yesterday’s memories, Paris can help you to preserve your most treasured memories for many lifetimes to come. If it is close to your heart we can make it last.
