Store bought stain removers and home remedies do not know the difference between canvas and cashmere. Paris Cleaners, with 100 years of experience, does.
Prevent spots from becoming set in stains - don't use over-the-counter stain removers or home remedies that can permanently set stains.
Drop off your garment at any Paris location ASAP & identify the spot to the store manager using our First Aid system. Please remember to allow a little extra time for the Paris 13-step process.
Camp Butler Flags Saved by Paris!
Paris Dry Cleaners cleaned and pressed over 100 flags for Camp Butler National Cemetery. Paris saved 100% of the flood-damaged flags at no charge to the Cemetery.
Opened on Oct. 1, 1861, during the Civil War, Camp Butler was the second largest military training camp in Illinois. Later, it housed Confederate prisoners of war, 866 of which are buried there. They are buried side-by-side with 776 graves of Union soldiers and enlistees, making a total of 1,642 Civil War graves.
Along with the soldiers who fought on both sides of the Civil War, veterans who lost their lives in the Spanish-American War, both World War I and World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War are also buried at Camp Butler. There are also German and Korean prisoners of war buried there, relocated from a cemetery near Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Cemetery is located at 5063 Camp Butler Road in Springfield, IL.
